This translation is provided for your convenience. The German version is legally binding.

In short: this website sets no cookies, uses no tracking and loads no content from third-party servers. We mainly process personal data when we are in touch by email. You will find the details below.

2. Visiting this website

This website is hosted by STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin. The connection is encrypted (TLS, recognisable by “https://”). When you visit it, the server automatically stores log data: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the previously visited page and information about your browser and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably and to fend off attacks; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in doing so (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not analyse these logs. How long they are kept is determined by the host.

Fonts, scripts and videos come from our own server. There are no cookies, no tracking, no analytics tools and no embedded content from other providers.

If your browser is set to a different language than the page, we offer you the other language on your first visit. If you choose a language or close the notice, your browser stores this choice in its local storage (localStorage) so that the notice does not appear again. This information is not transmitted to us, and you can delete it in your browser at any time. This storage is strictly necessary for the language choice you requested (Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG).

3. Contacting us by email

If you write to us, we process your email address, your name, the content of your message and any files or links you send in order to answer your enquiry, send you a quote and carry out an order (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We delete your messages once the enquiry has been dealt with and no retention obligation applies. We keep invoices and business correspondence for as long as commercial and tax law requires, usually six to ten years (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

4. When we write to you as a business

We introduce our services to estate agents and other property providers by email. For this purpose, we process business contact details (name, company, business email address) and information from your public listing (title, location, photos). This data comes from publicly accessible sources: your legal notice, your website or your listing. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in introducing our services to businesses (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

You can object to this at any time (Art. 21(2) GDPR), for example by replying “Stop”. We will then stop writing to you and delete your data. To make sure it stays that way, we keep only your email address on a suppression list (Art. 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR).

We delete photos from listings no later than 90 days after retrieving them if they do not lead to an order. We delete your contact details no later than twelve months after our last message if no business relationship results.

5. Orders

We delete photos and working files from orders 30 days after delivery. If we show a video as an example of our work, we do so on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you object, we will remove the video promptly.

6. Service providers

We work with a small number of service providers who process data only on our instructions: the host of this website and of our mailbox (STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin) and AI services we use to create the camera moves from photos, draft emails and categorise incoming replies. In doing so, the photos or the content of the respective message are transmitted. Some of these providers are based in the USA. Transfers take place on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or of standard contractual clauses (Art. 45, 46 GDPR). Payments are made by bank transfer through the banks involved.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). An email to team@olive-video.com is enough.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the data protection supervisory authority of Lower Saxony (LfD Niedersachsen), Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hannover, Germany.

You are not obliged to provide us with any data; without your contact details, however, we cannot reply to you. We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
